New media events - Boston 2002-2005

The CONVERGENCE event was an opportunity for interaction between the independent film and cyberarts communities (The Boston Independent Film Festival and Boston Cyberarts Festival), featuring performers from a new wave of artists exploring the space between cinema and new media.

The New Media Showcase at NEMO (and Boston Music Awards) 2002 focused on the growing connections between the music and new media industries and featured presentations and panel discussions with artists, musicians, and technologists as well as evening showcase performances.
